Toyota Wins Three More Consumer Reports Awards

Three Toyota models have recently earned awards from Consumer Reports magazine. The RAV4 earned the title of "Best Value Small SUV". The ever-popular Prius hybrid was named "Top Green Car", for the eighth consecutive year. And, the Sienna minivan received the distinction of "Best Family Hauler". Bolstering their prestige even further, Toyota leads all automakers with 20 recommended models out of 26 tested.

"These latest accolades join the impressive list of awards and recognitions received in recent weeks, giving Toyota an exceptionally strong start to 2011," says Adel Ezzet, Director of Toyota SUV at Abdul Latif Jameel, the sole distributer of Toyota brands in Saudi Arabia. "The fact that Toyota is totally dominating the awards season shows the high esteem in which the brand is held by auto industry experts and analysts, which in turn reflects the confidence and trust of consumers throughout the world."1

On the success of the RAV4 specifically, Ezzet adds, "The popularity of the RAV4, is due to the fact that it combines the benefits of a fuel efficient car with the comfort and spacious interior of an SUV, offering a perfect blend between power, fuel economy, comfort, quality and safety."2  RAV4, for those not familiar with the vehicle, is an abbreviation for Recreational Active Vehicle 4-wheel drive.
