  • Fall For Matthews in Downtown Matthews 

Ahhh, a name that actually says what happens at this fall festival near the Charlotte Metro Area. This event takes place on October 14 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There are going to be arts and crafts vendors, business vendors, a DJ, live music, a sip and stroll, a pumpkin patch petting zoo, and even a children’s area. Best of all…this event is free and is open to everyone rain or shine!

  • Downtown Davidson Fall Arts Festival 

Another fall festival near the Charlotte Metro Area that you can’t miss is the Downtown Davidson Fall Arts Festival. This will take place on October 21 from 4-8 p.m. in the Historic Downtown Davidson and South Main area. There will be fun for everyone including live music, kids crafts, fine arts, and handmade gifts.

  • Ballantyne’s Das Best Oktoberfest 

The Ballantyne’s Das Best Oktoberfest is a fall festival near the Charlotte Metro Area that you won’t want to miss! This will take place on October 21 from 12-5 p.m. for your convenience. You can look forward to over 150 international, domestic, and local North Carolina beets, domestic wines, and schnapps, too! Plus, there’s going to be oompah bands, live music, and other amazing food you must get a bite of! Don’t forget to try out the beer games arena and contests that include cornhole, Masskrugstemmen, and Fingerhakeln!

  • The Great Pumpkin Fest 

Another fall festival is the Great Pumpkin Festival. This event takes place between September 16-October 29, and you can’t miss out on this! This is a family-friendly event where you can bring your little ones to enjoy Halloween attractions including, Lucy’s Mummy Pit, Peppermint Patty’s Hay Bale Maze, Woodstock’s Kookie Corn Maze, and Linus’ Pumpkin Patch. Don’t forget, there’s also trick-or-treating in your costumes! This event will take place on Saturdays and Sundays between 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Autumn Treasures 

The Autumn Treasures is another fall festival that is great for the whole family! Take a break from the TV and enter a fun zone where there are local crafters on Main Street with local musicians. There’s also a Kids Zone that has fun things to do like inflatables, carnival rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, children’s entertainment, and crafts. This will take place in Downtown Waxhaw on Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday from noon-6 p.m.
