Best Places to Celebrate Spring
With spring coming around the corner, it’s time to make plans for adventures in the great outdoors. And, what better way to shake off the cold, snowy winter and spring into spring than by basking in the sunlight in a meadow? And, luckily, Toyota of N Charlotte has all of the great spots to check out after being cooped up all winter long. Let’s get into it!
Go for a Paddle.
If you’re wanting to get out on the water without actually swimming, then paddle boarding is for you! Unless you accidentally fall in the water! Nonetheless, you can go adventure on this 320-mile shoreline in North Carolina with many different access points from lakes, rivers, and other bodies of water! Don’t forget the sunscreen!
Camping.Â
Another great spot to visit this spring is Camp North End. There are 14 different food and drinking areas, and so many places to go shopping with the ladies. You can’t forget the murals and the 76 acres of pure fun.
Go for a Race.Â
If you’re looking to get those running shoes ready for a race and to stretch your legs, then participate in the Virtual Shamrock 4 Miler presented by Novant Health. Well, for St. Patrick’s Day, there’s going to be a 4-mile run in south Charlotte. And, the finish line is at the Famous Toastery, so grab a drink and celebrate your big win with some friends!
Adventure of a Lifetime.Â
If you like that rush of adrenaline from extreme sports or activities, then have a nature getaway in Morganton. You can go rock climbing, ziplining, or hiking in the many local state parks. Beanstalk Ziplines is one of the most famous parks on the East Coast. Also, there’s a suspension bridge that’s 35 feet high and some beautiful waterfalls! So, grab a friend and head on out!
Ghost Tours.Â
Another great spot is the Asheville Walking Ghost Tours. You can walk throughout the city listening to eerie ghost stories, murders, and spooky hauntings. Also, you’ll finally understand why psychics consider Asheville a vortex. These typically happen at night so be sure to wear some walking shoes.
Blue Ridge Parkway.Â
It’s nice to step out into a beautiful landscape of greenery. What better way than visiting Blue Ridge Parkway? There are several hiking trails, beautiful vistas, waterfalls, and mountains! And, even better, there’s a hiking trail for every skill level. Get your camera ready to take some pictures of the plants, pastures, and other Instagram-worthy shots. Some of the most popular hiking trails are Mount Pisgah, Linville Falls, Graveyard Fields Trail, and Boone Fork Trail!
