If you’re not too familiar with what AWD (All-Wheel Drive) is, what it does, and why it’s such a huge deal they made it onto our N Charlotte Toyota sedans, you don’t have to worry. Here’s a mini-crash course.
In Lehman’s terms, AWD is a drivetrain similar to front and rear drive that controls the wheels and distributes power to you car. Front and rear drive only use two wheels when moving your N Charlotte Toyota forward, however, uses all four wheels. Cool thing about it is that this drivetrain can be either part time or full time. Part time AWD means that AWD will activate depending on the terrain your vehicle comes across—if the driver engages in this setting. Full time means that it’s always active and all wheels are being used.
