July 4th is just days away – how are you celebrating America’s independence? We’ve got a few suggestions (besides visiting the July 4th Sales Event at Toyota of N Charlotte for our best deals of the summer); see what’s going on in our fair city and different ways you can celebrate the long holiday weekend.

July 4th celebrations NC

#1: 4th of July Celebration: US National WhiteWater Center, July 3rd & 4th

This celebration spans two days and encompasses activities like yoga, standup paddleboarding races, outdoor adventures, live music, food and drinks, and a firework show on the 4th. Plus, you can take on the whitewater with family and friends to round out the day. You can bring your four-legged friends, too (Mr. Toyota approves) as long as you keep them on a leash.

#2: Summer Pops: Charlotte Symphony Park, 8:15 pm on July 3rd

Celebrate the 4th the night before with the Charlotte Symphony. You’ll love hearing the symphony play patriotic favorites, and the night is rounded out with a spectacular fireworks show that viewers of all ages can appreciate.

#3: Skyshow and Street Party: BB&T Ballpark, Charlotte, 2 pm to 10 pm on July 4th

Mint Street will shut down in front of the ballpark for this special July 4th celebration. You can enjoy the street party, music, and family activities to kick things off, and then catch a baseball game with the Charlotte Knights (first pitch at 6:05 pm). A patriotic flag service will take place after the game to honor veterans and active military, and then you’ll be able to view the largest fireworks display in the Southeast with Fox46 Charlotte.

#4: Celebrate America Fireworks Show: Carowinds, 9:3o pm on July 4th

Cap off a fun-filled day at Carowinds with a huge fireworks show – they kick off at 9:30 and will take place both July 4th and July 5th.

#5: July 3rd Celebration: Mooresville

The Lowes YMCA in Mooresville will host a day for fun and family on July 3rd to celebrate our nation’s independence! You can enjoy fellowship, food and drinks, live entertainment and music, and tons of kid-friendly activities. On top of that, the day will end with a fireworks show – be sure to bring a blanket or chairs so you can get comfortable for the show!

We hope you enjoy your July 4th celebrations, and don’t forget to check out our limited-time sales event at Toyota of N Charlotte for our BEST deals on new Toyotas and used cars! We’re open seven days a week at 13429 Statesville Road, just off I-77 at exit 23.
