Now that summer is in full swing and cherry pie is on your mind, it’s time to start thinking about what 4th of July events you’ll attend this year! And, what better way to ring that in than by driving in your N Charlotte Toyota? Lucky for you, we’ve gathered all of the most coveted spots to see a spectacular fireworks show. Alternatively, you could grab the tastiest funnel cake and bottle of lemonade, too! Let’s get into it!

July 4th Events That You Must Attend! 

When you Google “4th of July events near me,” you’ll find many events. However, we’ve gathered the best July 4th events! Let’s break it down for you!

  • SkyShow 2024

 The SkyShow is back and even better this year! This event is July 4 at 6:35 p.m. This takes place at the Trust Field at 324 S Mint Street, Charlotte, North Carolina. You can enjoy the baseball game first, and then sit back and relax for the fireworks show! However, the price does vary for this event, but Toyota of N Charlotte suggests you bring some extra cash for this event.

  • 4th of July Celebration at Whitewater Center 

This 4th of July event takes place July 3 (6-10 p.m.) and July 4 (8 a.m.-10 p.m.). You’ll find this 4th of July event at 5000 Whitewater Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Also, the admission is free, but parking is $12. In addition, you can look forward to a night full of live music, and a 5K race (to burn off that cherry pie). SUP yoga, and more! At the moment, fireworks aren’t planned. However, stay tuned if this changes!

  • City of Gastonia Fourth of July Celebration 

Another 4th of July event that you can’t miss is the City of Gastonia celebration! This takes place on July 4 from 5-9:30 p.m. Plus, this event is located at the Rotary Centennial Pavilion at 111 N South Street in Gastonia, North Carolina. Plus, the kicker is that it’s free 99! You can grab some yummy food from the food trucks, tons of entertainment and vendors, and a free KidsZone. Plus, you know there’s fireworks, duh!

  • City of Cherryville’s Independence Day Celebration 

Next, is a 4th of July event on July 3 from 6-10 p.m. Also, this will take place at Rudisill Stadium at 401 East Fire Street in Cherryville, North Carolina. Plus, this event is totally free! You can expect to enjoy live music by The Tams and good ol’ fireworks! Bring the whole family to this super fun event!

  • Town of Stanley’s 4th of July Celebration 

This event takes place on July 4 at 9:30 p.m. You can find this super fun event at Harper Park at 301 Blacksnacke Road in Stanley, North Carolina. Additionally, this event is totally free so that’s super good for your wallet. Lastly, this event will have fireworks for sure! We haven’t solidified if there are going to be inflatables like last year.
