Spot #1 Plaza Midwood 

One of the best neighborhoods to go trick or treating is the plaza Midwood area. It’s been said that this is the best neighborhood ever and that lots of streets are closed for tricker-or-treaters! This place is nestled about one mile to the northeast of the Uptown area. It’s super safe and is amazing for your little ones to have the time of their life.

Spot #2 Dilworth 

Another great neighborhood in the Charlotte area is Dilworth. It’s been said that tons of kids come to trick or treat here and many other families that don’t even live in the area! It’s super safe, easy to tackle multiple houses, and the decorations are to die for! This neighborhood goes ALL OUT for Halloween and it almost seems like they battle for the best decorations. You’ll know you’re here when you see the beautiful oak trees and huge front porches.

Spot #3 Myers Park 

If spooky decorations are your cup of tea, then this is the neighborhood for you! In particular, Beverly Drive is the best road to check out some super cool decorations. You’ll know you’re here when you see high-end boutiques, gourmet grocery stores, and chic restaurants. So, get your pillowcase or bucket ready for those full-size candy bars!

Another great spot for trick-or-treating near Charlotte is the NoDa area. They shut down the area from 35th Street and Spencer and Alexander. You won’t have to worry about cars driving around your little ones either! Just pure bliss while collecting the best candy bars from the houses here. This area is also known for its historic destinations here.

Spot #5 Cotswold 

Another great spot for trick-or-treating near Charlotte is the Cotswold area. This is another runner-up for the best decorations during the entire month of October. But, Toyota of N Charlotte won’t penalize you if you start decorating in September. You’ll know you’re here when you’re near the intersection of Randolph and Sharon Amity Roads.
