4 Steps When your Steering Wheel Locks

Step #1 Put Your Key Into the Ignition.

Start by putting your key into your car. Then, wiggle your steering wheel back and forth to see which direction your wheel will turn. Now, you might have to put some muscle into this, but it won’t break! Don’t worry at all!

Step #2 Turn Your Steering Wheel to One Direction.

After you do that, then move your steering wheel toward the direction your wheel goes. If it moves to the right, then put your hand on the left side of the wheel and push it toward the right side with one hand.

Step #3 Put Your Key in the Ignition with Your Other Hand.

Now, as you’re doing that, put the key in with your other hand.

Step #4 Voila!

After following all of these steps, then your wheel should be good to go! However, if it doesn’t work, then try it a few more times. You might not be using enough force to turn the wheel.
