  • Kennedy’s Premium Bar and Grill 

This place in Charlotte has a lot of history behind it! This place used to be an old farmhouse, but it was converted into a popular drinking spot. Employees have witnessed doors opening and closing by themselves, radio turning on and off, and sightings of figures in the bathrooms. Even local paranormal teams have checked this place out and given it the verified stamp of a haunted spot.

  • Latta Place 

This old house dates back to 1800 and is now a living history farm where you can take a tour all around the property. But, the Latta family is still living here for free (as ghosts). Many tourists have stated that the doors slam, hear children running and playing, and dark shadow figures walking around.

  • Carolina Theatre 

This spooktacular theatre opened in 1927 for its first showing and is known to have a rent-free resident living here. There’s a ghost living here named Fred who is mostly harmless. He can be seen turning the lights off and on and showing himself as a pale white apparition on the balcony. Bring a jacket because it’s gonna get spooky!

  • Fire Station

Another great haunt near Charlotte is a fire station that was originally built in 1925 but is now abandoned! One of the former firefighters fractured his skull and passed away here. Now, he is known to make an appearance, and some people can even smell his cigar smoke.

  • Founders Hall 

During the late 1800s, a young girl died a grisly death and her corpse was even taken! Yikes! Talk about some super spooks! Soon after, people could see her walking at Founders Hall. Even spookier, she was always said to be very upset and screaming. Soon, the girl’s body was found and properly buried, but her spirit is still attached to the building. Although she’s stopped screaming, she does still open and closes doors throughout the property now.

  • Antique Kingdom

Another haunt near Charlotte is a place that has been known as a moonshine distillery, wedding venue, and even a dorm for single ladies. But, today it’s a haunted antique emporium. People refuse to go up to the third floor and the second floor isn’t that much better. People have reported feeling very closed in, can feel an unseen person, and even breathing on their cheek!

  • McGlohon Theatre

Another good haunt near Charlotte was an old Church that is now a theatre that was built in the late 1800s. Employees have said that they can hear someone singing upstairs even though they know it’s empty. People also hear random footsteps when they’re alone in the building!
